UNCTADstat dataset US.TradeServICT, version 10008 (data last updated 21 Jul 2026; published on the UNCTADstat data centre 29 Sep 2026), indicator: ICT services exports as % of total trade in services (exports), with US$ at current prices. ICT services = telecommunications, computer and information services (EBOPS 2010). Every chart value, flag and US$ figure re-read on the UNCTADstat data centre (dataset US.TradeServICT v10008) and matching the progrss vault. Cross-check: UNCTAD's separate digitally deliverable services dataset (US.DigitallyDeliverableServices v10007) gives the same category at 46.1% for Pakistan and 33.0% for India in 2025. Status: Pakistan's figures carry no UNCTAD flag (reported); India's 2015–2025 values, Sri Lanka 2025 and Egypt 2010 are flagged "Estimated" by UNCTAD. Shares 2010 → 2025 (%): Pakistan 6.60 → 45.99; India 45.83 → 32.93; Philippines 12.56 → 17.13; Sri Lanka 14.08 → 12.78; Bangladesh 12.80 → 8.79; Egypt 4.18 → 6.03. Pakistan vs India by year: 2020 31.82 vs 32.36; 2021 37.41 vs 33.97; 2022 35.35 vs 31.79; 2023 36.68 vs 33.48; 2024 44.37 vs 32.10; 2025 45.99 vs 32.93. ICT exports, US$ bn: Pakistan 0.434 (2010) → 4.179 (2025); India 135.76 (2025). Pakistan's total services exports implied by the share: about US$6.6bn (2010) and US$9.1bn (2025), so the rise is driven by ICT growth, not a shrinking total (progrss calculation). Among economies with at least US$1bn of ICT services exports in 2025, Pakistan's share ranks third, after Ireland (60.7%) and Kuwait (49.3%), both UNCTAD estimates (progrss calculation). Calendar years; Pakistan's own State Bank reports fiscal years, so its figures differ. Sri Lanka's share spiked to 48.5% in 2021 when tourism collapsed and then fell back, a reminder that shares move with the denominator.
