USDA FAS PSD, commodity 0711100 'Coffee, Green', attribute 'Domestic Consumption' (thousand 60-kg bags), read from the USDA FAS PSD API (api.fas.usda.gov/api/psd) through the progrss data vault on 4 Nov 2026; data as of July 2026 (Russia's 2025/26 row last revised December 2025). Chart values are USDA's figures in millions of bags. Market years follow each country's local season (Vietnam's runs October to September). 2025/26 is a USDA estimate; 2024/25 is the latest firm year. Vietnam vs Russia (thousand bags): 2023/24 3,900 vs 4,250; 2024/25 4,800 vs 4,450 (first year above); 2025/26 4,900 vs 4,575. Indonesia passed Russia earlier, in 2019/20. USDA forecasts 5,000 for Vietnam and 4,800 for Russia in 2026/27 (forecast, not charted). 4.9M bags is about 294,000 tonnes. Percent changes are progrss calculations. The chart shows three markets; Canada (5,050) and Indonesia (4,810) also drink about as much. It is not a ranking: the EU, the US, Brazil, Japan and China drink more. USDA's Vietnam series rose sharply after 2022/23 (3,200 to 4,800 thousand bags by 2024/25); part of the jump may reflect revised estimates rather than growth alone. Ethiopia's rise (3,110 to 4,500) is a progrss calculation.
