Urby, a waterfront residential leasing, has unveiled a 900-unit residential building complete with New York City’s first residential urban farm, (complete with farmer-in-residence) in Staten Island. Developed by real estate company Ironfirm and Dutch architecture and interior design company Concrete, the residential building aims to serve as a miniature city for contemporary residents who are looking for an urban life with rural perks.
The new concept also include a communal kitchen with a residing chef, a filtered water bottle filling station, a bike room, and outdoor pool. The apartments’ sizes vary from a studio with a rental price tag of USD $1,760 per month to a two-bedroom apartment that costs USD $3,550 monthly.
